How the Service Works

We initially approach all virus and pop-up issues via an in-home callout under our standard £45 callout fee (which covers the diagnostics and the first hour of on-site labor). Most common browser hijacks and pop-up scams can be resolved quickly right at your kitchen table.

In the rare event that the viruses/malware is more deeply embedded and cannot be resolved safely on-site, we will advise you on the next steps. This may require taking the laptop back to our secure workbench however we will inform you of our suspisions so you can make an inofrmed decision based on our recommendations.

How We Clear the Blockage:

• Nuke the Pop-Ups: We permanently block the malicious websites and browser notifications causing the fake alerts.

• Clean Up the Bloat: We uninstall expired, aggressive antivirus software (such as McAfee or Norton) and other unauthorized background programs that are hogging your system's memory and slowing you down.

• Deep Scan & Verification: We run specialized, professional-grade diagnostic scans to ensure no hidden adware, spyware, or malware is left on your system.

• Activate the Shield: We configure and update your built-in, free Windows Security and Reputation-Based Protection to block future unwanted installations.

(Please note: This is a software-based cleanup service. We do not perform ransomware decryption or physical, clean-room data recovery for severely damaged operating systems).
